Indeed, a sea bird osprey was flying with a fish in its beak. Just then the fish left its beak and landed on the power line. The police department made fun of the incident on Facebook

And the Sayreville Police Department mocked the incident on Facebook. The police department named the dead fish Gilligan and posted it as an osprey with a finger as a suspect.
The police department wrote in the post, ‘Please do not forget the victim in this senseless death. Gilligan was a hardworking family man. He was the father of thousands of children. The post asked anyone with information about the case to contact John Silver, a fictional person who handles fish affairs for the police department.
At the same time, the power company also sympathized with the osprey bird for ruining the lunch break of its employees on the day of the incident. Honing, a spokesman for Jersey Central Power and Light Co., jokes that if you’ve ever dropped your ice cream cone at a fair, you know the feeling. The company appreciated its customers’ patience until power was restored.
