1300 railway stations in the country are being modernized under Amrit Bharat Yojana: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Monday said that 1,300 railway stations in the country, including Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, are being redeveloped and modernized under the ‘Amrit Bharat Station Yojana’. He was talking to reporters after reviewing the construction work at Gwalior station. The Railway Minister said that a total of 1,300 railway stations are being redeveloped and modernized and under this, an investment of Rs 500 crore is being made at Gwalior station. Conversion of ‘narrow gauge’ line to ‘broad gauge’ is progressing rapidly.
