14,625 Candidates will give UPSC CSE Mains Exam, Know when they can fill DAF?

UPSC CSE MAIN EXAM DATE: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the Civil Services i.e. CSE Preliminary Exam Result on 1 July 2024 on the official website. The result link is active on the official website upsc.gov.in. Now the candidates who are successful in this exam will be given an opportunity to appear in the UPSC CSE mains exam. This year 14,625 candidates will get a chance to appear in the main examination. This year, the Civil Services (Main) Exam 2024 will be held from September 20, which will last for five days. Indian Forest Service (Main) Exam 2024 will be conducted from 24th November.

When will UPSC DAF be released?

As per UPSC CSE Exam Rules, all these candidates have to fill Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for Civil Services (Main) Exam, 2024. DAF Filling Dates and Important Notice UPSC, while declaring the results of CSE Preliminary Exam on July 1, informed that its submission will be announced on the Commission’s website in due course. 1056 Vacancies in Central Government Services and Departments will be filled through UPSC Civil Services 2024 Exam. They include Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Foreign Service (IFS). 40 of the total vacancies are reserved for persons with benchmark disability category. Last year, 1,105 posts were filled, while the number of posts in 2021 was 712 and the number of posts in 2020 was 796. UPSC CSE exam is conducted in three stages, Prelims, Mains and Interview.
