In an interview, AR Murugadoss said that Aamir Khan had suggested Salman Khan’s name to him for the film ‘Ghajani’. On this the director told Aamir that Salman Khan has a macho body. They can get tattooed and fight too. In those days, Aamir Khan used to play a soft character in films. He told Aamir, ‘If Salman Khan does ‘Ghajani’, it will be his second action film, but if you do, it will be nothing short of a surprise for the audience.
