IAS officer Kinjal Singh, who became an inspiration to the youth due to his hard struggle, is once again in the news. UP IAS officer Kinjal has filed a case against the person running the YouTube channel at Gomtinagar police station in Lucknow. He alleged that the channel operator had spread objectionable and false information about his late parents on social media. Gomtinagar police have conducted an investigation. IAS Kinjal Singh, a resident of Gomtinagar Vipulkhand, filed the case against Usman Saifi alias Usman Ali of Gonda, who runs his YouTube channel under the name Usman Saifi Safar. On June 20, Usman Saifi aired a video on his YouTube channel and blog related to his late parents, which is completely misleading. The video has been aired as part of a conspiracy to insult his honor and defame his character. The IAS officer says that this video is spoiling his image. Before posting this news, the YouTube operator did not seek the consent of any of his family members. According to Inspector Deepak Pandey, Gomtinagar, based on the complaint of IAS Kinjal Singh, a case has been registered against accused Usman Saifi and investigation is on.

Born in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, Kinjal Singh’s success story is very inspiring for the youth. She was only two years old when her father was killed. His father KP Singh worked as Deputy Superintendent of Police. His father’s associates killed him in a fake encounter in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. Mother Vibha Singh was pregnant at the time of father’s death. After 6 months she gave birth to another daughter named Pranjal. His mother used to come to Delhi Supreme Court from Ballia for justice.

Kinjal wanted to fulfill her father’s dream of becoming an IAS officer. After schooling, he took admission in the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College of Delhi University. Mata Vibha passed away due to cancer in the year 2004. After her mother’s death, Kinjal returned to college to take her final exams and topped Delhi University. After this he also called his younger sister Pranjal Singh to Delhi. Both the sisters started preparing for UPSC together. Kinjal got 25th rank in the year 2008. Pranjal has also cleared the UPSC exam with a rank of 252. Pranjal is an IRS officer.

IAS and IRS After becoming officers, the two sisters decided to bring justice to their father and send the perpetrators of his murder behind bars. His determination rocked the entire justice system and eventually resulted in a verdict in his favor in 2013. More than three decades after his father’s murder, the court sentenced all 18 accused in the murder of his father DSP Singh.
