3 killed in shooting in Florida, attacker also shot himself

Washington. A man shot and killed at least 3 people in Jacksonville, Florida, USA on Saturday afternoon. This is the latest mass shooting death in America. The gunman later shot himself and died. A gunman opened fire Saturday at a Dollar General store in Jacksonville, Florida, targeting black people, local police officials said, killing three people. According to a CNN report, Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters told a press conference that ‘the shooting was motivated by racial hatred and that he hates black people’.

Waters said the attacker was a white man in his 20s. After the attack, he committed suicide by shooting himself. The suspect left behind material showing his “hateful ideology of hatred” and motive for the attack. All three victims of his attacks were black. Waters said the shooter lived with his parents in Clay County, Florida, south of Jacksonville. He sent a message to his father asking him to look at his computer. The father obtained Waters’ ad and called the authorities.

Waters said the gunman had already begun attacking the Dollar General store by the time authorities alerted him. A gunman reportedly opened fire on a car passing by a Dollar General discount store. He then allegedly locked himself inside and later shot himself. Earlier in the day, at least seven people were hospitalized after a mass shooting at the Caribbean Festival in Boston. While officials said two women were shot during a baseball game the night before in Chicago.
