41-year-old Fahad Faisil, suffering from ADHD, began to affect his brain, he said – ‘The doctor said that at a young age…’

Mumbai. Fahad Faisil, the most popular and talented actor of the South Film Industry, was suffering from a disease called Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at the age of 41. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects a person’s ability to focus, behave, and control impulses (emotions). This is common in children but is considered dangerous in adults. Fahad spoke about his illness and recovery from it at an event.

Fahadh Faasil said after inaugurating the ‘Peace Valley Children’s Village’ in Kothmangalam in nearby Kerala on Sunday that he once asked a doctor if ADHD was easy to treat. “The doctor told me that if it is detected at an early age, it can be easily cured,” said Fahad.

Fahad Faisil further said, “I asked if having ADHD at the age of 41 can be cured. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 41 and am healthy.” His statement came after the success of the film ‘Avesh’. Avesam has been highly appreciated by critics and audiences alike. The film’s cinematography, action scenes and BGM were also highly praised.

‘Aavesh’ has become one of the highest grossing Indian films of the year. It was written and directed by Jeetu Madhav. Fahad plays the role of a gangster in this. Now Fahadh is going to work with director Jeetu Joseph. Jeetu directed the Mohanlal starrer Malayalam film franchise ‘Drashyam’ and ‘Drashyam 2’.

Apart from this, Fahadh Faasil will be seen again in Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Pushpa 2’. He will play the lead role in Rajinikanth starrer ‘Vettaiyan’. It is written and directed by TJ Gnanavel. It will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Duggubati and Manju Warrier in lead roles.
