About four and a half thousand Community Health Officers will be appointed in Bihar Health Sub Centers and Health Wellness Centers. The health department aims to release the vacancies by the end of this month. The vacancy will come through the State Health Committee. The appointment will be on contract basis. You will get a salary of Rs 32 thousand per month and Rs 40 thousand including an incentive of Rs 8 thousand. Earlier, 4500 Community Health Officer posts were released on March 9. There was not a single vacancy in the unreserved category. The post was canceled after protests at various levels due to non-vacancy in non-reserved category. Now the final vacancy will be released after recalculation of category wise vacancies. According to official sources, the department aims to reach the vacancy within a month. After the vacancy, candidates will be given about one month to apply online. Along with B.Sc nursing degree holders, candidates with degree in CHC i.e. certificate in community health will have an opportunity to apply.
Last time, in the vacancy, 145 posts for economically weaker section and 78 posts for women from economically weaker section were shown. Maximum 1345 posts were for Very Backward Classes, while 331 posts were for women in this category. 1279 posts were also provided for Scheduled Castes. While there were 230 posts for women in this category. This time the vacancy will be corrected and released.
Maximum age will be 42 to 47 years and minimum age of applicants will be 21 years. Maximum age limit is different for different categories.
Maximum age for non-reserved and economically weaker sections will be 42 years. For non-reserved and economically weaker section women it will be 45 years. Maximum age for Backward and Very Backward Class men and women will be 45 years. Maximum age limit for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates will be 47 years. There will be a maximum relaxation of 10 years in age limit for disabled candidates. Apart from this, there will be a provision of relaxation of up to 5 years in the application for the employees associated with the health department.
