A 3-member team will investigate the Hathras accident, know who the members are

On the instructions of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandi Patel, the state government on Wednesday constituted a three-member judicial inquiry commission to probe the Hathras stampede. A statement issued by the state government on Wednesday night said that a three-member judicial inquiry commission will be headed by Allahabad High Court Justice (retired) Brajesh Kumar Srivastava. He said the other two members of the commission include former Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Hemant Rao and former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Bhavesh Kumar Singh. It has been said on behalf of the government that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has constituted a judicial commission to find the culprits of the Hathras stampede. This commission has to complete the investigation within two months.

According to an official release, the state government has constituted a judicial commission with the consent of the governor and asked it to submit a report on five issues. It includes permission granted by the district administration and verification of compliance of its conditions by the organizers of the event.

Accident or Conspiracy Commission will investigate
The commission will also investigate whether it was an accident, a conspiracy or any other planned criminal incident. The commission has also been tasked with examining the arrangements made by the district administration and police to control the crowd and maintain law and order during the program and other related aspects. The commission will also find out the reasons and circumstances that led to the incident.

According to the spokesperson, the commission will also make suggestions to prevent a repeat of such incidents in future which killed 121 people in a stampede that broke out during a satsang organized by Vishwa Hari ‘Bhole Baba’ at Pulrai village in Hathras on Tuesday. Most of the dead are women.

CM Yogi met the injured
It is noteworthy that 121 people have died so far in this tragedy that happened on Tuesday. Many others are seriously injured. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the injured on Wednesday. Later speaking to the media, he spoke about the judicial inquiry. CM Yogi said that none of the guilty will be spared.
