New Delhi. Sai Sudarshan, who suddenly joined the Indian cricket team, is in England these days. Sai Sudarshan is playing for Surrey in county cricket. Sai Sudarshan now has to change his whole plan after suddenly being included in Team India. India is scheduled to play a T20 series against Zimbabwe from July 6. Sai Sudarshan has to reach Zimbabwe at least two days before this.
Three cricketers including Sai Sudarshan have been suddenly included in the Indian team. BCCI had to take this decision due to storm in West Indies. After winning the T20 World Cup, the Indian team is taking Barbados by storm. The cricketers and staff of the world champion team have been stuck in the hotel since June 29. In view of the delay in the return of these players to their home country, the BCCI has made changes to the squad for the tour of Zimbabwe.
Shivam Dubey, Sanju Samson and Yashaswi Jaiswal were also included in the squad announced earlier for the Zimbabwe tour. Sai Sudarshan, Jitesh Sharma and Harshit Rana have been included in place of these three. Left-handed batsman Sai Sudarshan may have received good news from the BCCI, but his performance in county cricket has been disappointing. Surrey scored 262 in the first innings against Essex. Sai Sudarshan’s contribution in this was only 14 runs. Sudarshan, who was batting in the top order for Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket, came to bat at number six for Surrey. Sudarshan is yet to bat in the second innings. By dismissing Essex for 180 runs, Surrey has taken a lead of 82 runs. After this he lost three wickets for 44 runs in the second innings.
