A horrifying video of a road accident has surfaced from the city of Pune in Maharashtra. A woman was hit by a speeding car in Pimpri Chinchwad area. After the collision, the woman was thrown into the air and fell away.
Police said a CCTV footage of the accident was circulated on social media, showing a woman jumping in the air and lying a short distance away after being hit by the car.

The incident is said to have taken place on June 12 at Swaraj Chowk in MIDC Bhosri Police Station area. Later the driver himself took the woman to the hospital and she is currently undergoing treatment.
Pimpri-Chinchwad DCP Shivaji Pawar said that the victim Rekha was injured in a road accident between 3.30-4 pm yesterday. Now his condition is stable. The 24-year-old accused has been taken into custody and the car has been seized.
