Aamir Khan’s son Junaid’s movie Maharaj hanged sword, Gujraj High Court to decide

The sword is hanging over Aamir Khan’s son’s film

New Delhi:

Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan’s debut film ‘Maharaj’ is mired in controversies. First of all the film was banned a day before its release and till now there is no hope of the film coming in front of the audience. Currently, the film is being heard in the Gujarat High Court and the latest update is that a team of judges will watch the film and the hearing will continue tomorrow i.e. 20th June. Yash Raj Films and Netflix asked Vakil to watch the film.

The petitioner has written against this film that this film has hurt religious sentiments. The government was informed about this but after getting no response from there we had to approach the High Court. The way this film is based on British decisions is not right. God has been wrongly portrayed in this film. Now the decision taken by the Gujarat High Court in this matter will be acceptable to us.

Let us tell you that Jaideep Ahlawat is in the lead role with Junaid Khan in this film. In the film, Jaideep plays the role of Maharaj who believes himself to be God and his pride is hurt when some of his wrongdoings are voiced against him. Now the film is in controversy as Jaideep’s character is shown to be involved in some malpractices. Due to this, there was an uproar right from the release of the film and the matter is still not calmed down.
