Pat Cummins’ feat of taking a second hat-trick in a row also fell short. Batting first, Afghanistan scored 148 runs for six wickets and in reply, Australia were bowled out for 127 runs in 19.2 overs. This is Afghanistan’s first win against Australia in international cricket. With this, Afghanistan also made up for the defeat in Mumbai in last year’s ODI World Cup.
