Afghanistan entered the do-or-die match by batting first against Australia

New Delhi. The Afghanistan team is playing a Super 8 match against Australia to stay in the race for the ICC T20 World Cup semi-finals. Australia won the toss and decided to bowl first against Afghanistan. After losing to India, this match is do or die for the Afghan team. Australia have won their first match and will look to secure their ticket to the semi-finals with a win here. Afghanistan has started well. In 6 overs of Powerplay, the team has scored 40 runs without any loss.

Australia started the Super 8 with a win against Bangladesh while Afghanistan lost against India. The Indian team has almost secured the semi-final ticket after defeating Bangladesh on Saturday. If Afghanistan lose here today, they will be out of the tournament and Australia and India will enter the semi-finals with two wins.
