NEET-PG Postponed: The Sunday entrance exam for admission to PG medical seats in medical colleges across the country was suddenly postponed on Saturday night. This decision has affected more than two lakh applicants. Students who have come to Delhi from different cities to take the exam have also expressed their anger.

Many students who dreamed of taking admission in PG after MBBS said that they booked expensive flights as they could not get train tickets. Some came with their children while some came with other members of their families. Everyone is worried because of the cancellation of exams.

Resident of Bhagalpur, Bihar Dr. Akanksha said that she had booked a flight ticket from Patna to Delhi. She reached Delhi on Saturday evening and went to her hotel room.

At the same time, he came to know through social media that the exam has been postponed. At first they thought it was fake news, but then they realized it was true. Akanksha says she chose the center of the national capital for fear of the paper being leaked. The whole episode is a waste of both his money and time.

Similarly, Neena Sharma came to Delhi from Meerut a day before to give the exam. She is the mother of a small child. Due to which her husband and child also had to be brought along in the summer. He had taken a room in a hotel in south Delhi near the exam centre, but was surprised by the news of the exam being postponed. She said that she works in a private hospital. He has also taken coaching for the exam and took a week off from a private hospital. In such a situation now they have to come for the exam again.

Shubham Anand, a student, said that he was inconvenienced when the center informed him about the exam at the last moment. If there was to be a rescheduling they should have announced it at least a few days in advance. He said that the distribution of examination centers was not done properly. Candidates got huge vacancies at the exam centres. The centers for students from Jaipur and Patna were in Delhi and then the exams were postponed when they reached there. Everyone is facing many difficulties. Who will reimburse them for the money and time spent?
