Wrestling competition.. With this success, Ankit has made a place in the National. They have also started preparing for the national wrestling competition to be held in November.

It includes players from every district
In a conversation with Local 18, Ankit Jat said that a state level wrestling competition in the under-19 male category was organized in Khandwa from August 22 to 25. Earlier he represented Indore division by winning gold medal in district level competition in Barwah and divisional level competition in Khandwa itself. Many players from all districts of MP participated here.

Only six months of practice
He says he fought 3 wrestling matches. The first was from Bhopal and the second from Gwalior and the third from Narmada Puram. He said that he started practicing only 6 months ago and has completed the journey from district to state level in these six months. Ankit’s dream is to win a gold medal for the country at the Olympics. He has attributed his achievement to his parents as well as his sports official.

National Preparedness
Ankit says that he was interested in sports since his childhood. But due to lack of proper guidance and equipment, he could not bring out his talent. But when he took admission in the Excellent Academy in Mandalayswar, his talent was not only tested by Iqbal Khan, the sports officer of the school, but also sent to Haryana to learn wrestling with the help of the school management. Trained for six months at Bhim Stadium, Bhiwani, Haryana. Now will go back to Haryana to prepare for the national competition.
