Anurag Kashyap comes out in support of Sandeep Reddy Vanga, takes aim at Bollywood again, calls ‘Animal’ director ‘true’

New Delhi, Anurag Kashyap is a Bollywood film director who openly expresses his opinion on every issue and because of this he often gets embroiled in controversies. Recently, another statement of Anurag Kashyap has come out due to which this director has once again come into the headlines. In an interview to Zoom TV, Anurag once again took aim at the Hindi film industry and backed Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of the controversial film ‘Animal’.

Anurag said in his interview, ‘I like Sandeep. I have no problem with him, he doesn’t show off like others in the industry. At least he makes films with truth. I think pretending is more toxic. I love nothing more than the truth. I like Sandeep.

Anurag Kashyap’s film was also opposed
Let us tell you that Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film ‘Animal’ was accused of being an anti-women film. The Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor starrer may have been a huge hit at the box office, but the film was mired in controversy right from the start. This is not the first time that Bollywood has been divided into two factions over a director’s film, earlier Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Dev D’ was also accused of being anti-women.

While participating in his daughter Alia Kashyap’s podcast, Anurag Kashyap explained the reason behind supporting Sandeep Reddy Vanga amid controversies. He said that often there is factionalism in the industry against a particular filmmaker and then everyone targets him. At that time she said that she went through this when her film ‘Dev D’ was criticized for being anti-women.
