Recently Anurag Kashyap said that once he slapped someone, due to which he had to spend the whole night in police lockup. The director says that his entire life changed after that incident.
While talking on Samaya Raina’s YouTube channel, Anurag Kashyap was asked if he has ever gone to jail. The director replied, ‘Yes, I have gone to jail. I slapped a wrong man. He was someone you shouldn’t kill. The man who put me in lockup changed my life. He fired me too. Anurag said the man who took him to the lockup was impressed that the director had raised his voice for the right thing.
