Apart from Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma, the former batting coach picks his World Cup squad

New Delhi. The Indian squad for the Asia Cup has been announced. After this big tournament, India has to decide the team for ICC ODI World. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar announced the squad along with captain Rohit Sharma. The World Cup team is going to be final from the 17 member team. The former Indian batting coach has selected his team.

India to enter the ICC ODI World Cup at home. In the year 2011, playing at home, Team India won the title under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Fans are expecting a similar win from current captain Rohit Sharma. Out of the 17-member squad selected for the Asia Cup, 15 players are expected to be selected for the World Cup. Former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar has left out Tilak Verma and Sanju Samson from his final World Cup squad.

Bangar has selected Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer as batsmen in the World Cup playing team led by captain Rohit Sharma. In bowling, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Mohammad Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, Akshar Patel, Shardul Thakur have been retained. Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul have been kept as wicketkeepers.
