Asia Cup preparations underway, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli leave

New Delhi. The Indian squad for Asia Cup 2023 has been announced. Team India is all set to reclaim the trophy ahead of the ICC ODI World Cup. The camp of the Indian team is going to be held at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. Team India captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have left to be a part of this camp from day one.

The Indian team is gearing up to rule the Asia Cup. It will begin with a camp set up in Bangalore for Team India. According to reports, captain Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli have left to be a part of this camp organized for the Asia Cup. It is reported that both the players will attend the NCA from day one to further strengthen their preparation. The players who are part of the Asia Cup team playing the T20 series in Ireland will reach Bangalore after the last match.

Regarding the camp being held for the Asia Cup, a BCCI official told InsideSport that this camp is for the team selected for the Asia Cup. Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be part of this camp from day one. Both will arrive to join the camp on Thursday (August 24). Most of the players in the team will be part of this camp from day one. The rest of the players will reach Bangalore after the series against Ireland.
