Australia: Shocking incident, youth dies in 90 second bar fight

Gold Coast. A 26-year-old youth died tragically in Australia’s Gold Coast. He was stabbed in the chest during a pub fight that lasted just 90 seconds. The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Dylan McPadden. His friends and family members have paid tributes with great sadness. Friends have paid tribute to Dylan, describing him as a happy and loving friend. Dylan was a resident of Nerang. Police have taken a youth into custody on the charge of murder.

According to reports on social media, emergency services attended local bar and pub RQ’s Tavern at around 10.15pm on Thursday after reports of a man being stabbed. The man was taken to hospital after suffering an inch-wide stab wound to the chest, but unfortunately died within an hour of arrival.

Friends mourned the death of a young man
A few days before the attack, McPadden expressed his excitement on Facebook. “Yes, today feels like dancing,” he wrote. Friends have mourned McPadden’s death. Friends have written that his life ended in such a violent way. Another friend described him as friendly and good-hearted and demanded severe punishment for the killer.

A murder investigation has been launched, police are interrogating
Queensland Police Detective Sergeant Mark Proctor said the stabbing was a great lesson for young people, as a single stab wound could affect many lives. An investigation into McPadden’s murder has been launched and a forensic team has collected a lot of evidence at the scene. Police are now looking to release video footage and recordings. Mark Proctor said that in the meantime people present at the bar, staff will be questioned. A girl was also with the murder accused, the police will also question her. He said that we have seized many knives and all are being investigated. The search for the knife used in the murder is still ongoing.
