The wait for B.Tech admissions based on JEE Main in five major educational institutes of the capital is about to end soon. Admission is likely to start from this week itself. Joint Admission Counseling (JAC) is arranged for admission to these institutes. Delhi Technological University (DTU) is the nodal institution this time and will host it. Earlier this counseling was supposed to start last week. JACK Chairman and DTU Professor Prof. Rajeev Chaudhary said that soon complete information about this will be shared on JACK’s website. We hope to start the counseling by 30th or 31st May. He said that complete information regarding this will be uploaded.
More than six thousand seats Admission will be given for more than six thousand seats in five educational institutions functioning under Delhi Government. An official involved in the counseling said that the counseling will be done only on the basis of JEE Main marks and candidates will be able to take admission in 6,372 designated seats. The number of seats is likely to increase this year.
Let us tell you that 85 percent seats in these institutes are reserved for 12th passed students from Delhi. 15 percent seats are for students from outside Delhi. Under this the rules of reservation are also followed. In addition to B.Tech in IGDTUWA and NSUT there will also be counseling for admission to five year B.Architecture.
