Legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar shared an emotional post on his father Ramesh Tendulkar’s 25th death anniversary. He got emotional seeing his father’s old chair. Sachin’s father, who created and broke many records in his 24-year career, died in 1999. Sachin was then in England for the ODI World Cup. He came to India and attended his father’s funeral and then returned to England. Sachin was 26 years old at that time. Let us tell you that Ramesh Tendulkar was a Marathi poet and novelist. Sachin wrote on social media platform ‘X’ on Sunday, “It’s been 25 years since Baba left us but even today standing by his old chair feels as if he is still here.” I was only 26 at the time and now at 51 I can see more clearly the impact it has had on my life and many others. It was very emotional to come to this place after 43 years on the 25th anniversary of his death. His wisdom and kindness continue to inspire me. Baba, I remember you every day and I hope I am living up to the values you have given me.
After this emotional post of Sachin, fans are getting strong reactions. Many fans consoled Sachin. One user wrote, “Sir, you are a great son.” Your father has given you great values. He will be very proud of you.” Another said, “Your Baba’s intelligence and kindness are clearly present in you. Baba would be really proud of the kind of person you are.” Former Pakistan cricketer Saeed Anwar also commented on Sachin’s post. He said, “I know it’s so hard to put into words, be happy bro.”
