Himachal Pradesh will withdraw its reply from the record
The Himachal government apologized to the court and said it would withdraw its reply from the record by filing an affidavit. It has been stated on behalf of Himachal Government that our intention was correct, though there are some defects in the reply filed, it will be corrected and placed on record before the Court. The Supreme Court has accepted this appeal.
The Supreme Court has directed to convene a meeting of the Upper River Yamuna Board on Friday, in which a decision will be taken at the earliest on providing additional water to Delhi on humanitarian grounds. The court said that if necessary, the meeting of the board should be held every day.
