IPL 2024 Hardik Pandya banned The Board of Control for Cricket in India i.e. BCCI has slapped a hefty fine of Rs 30 lakh on Hardik Pandya along with one match ban. The ban has been imposed on the Mumbai Indians captain due to his slow over rate in the last match of the season against Lucknow Super Giants. Slow over rate is MI’s third mistake of the season, which has led to captain Hardik Pandya being banned. It is being said that this ban on Hardik Pandya will be applicable in the first match of IPL 2025 as MI have no matches left in this season. Apart from Hardik Pandya, BCCI has also imposed heavy fines on other players of the team.

According to a press release issued by the IPL, Pandya was fined Rs 30 lakh and will be banned from the next team as this was his team’s third offense under the minimum over rate offenses under the IPL Code of Conduct. The match has been banned.

The rest of the Mumbai Indians playing XI, including the impact players, will be individually paid Rs. 12 lakhs or 50 percent of their respective match fees whichever is less was imposed.
