In the same society of Mira Road adjacent to Mumbai where there was a commotion before Bakrid last year, this time there has been a commotion again over Bakri. Vehicles were searched by the society to ensure that no goat was brought into the society. The uproar started when Mohsin Shaikh’s car was searched. Actually Mohsin Sheikh is the same person who brought the goat last year. In such a situation, when his car was checked, a ruckus started. On getting information about the commotion, the police reached the spot and pacified everyone. Currently the situation is peaceful but tension remains.
What happened last year?
Mohsin Sheikh bought a goat in this society last year. Due to which there was an uproar. When the people living there got information about bringing goat, they protested against it and a case of bringing goat was also registered against many people.
People living here said that our society had passed a rule that no livestock would be allowed inside the society. Breaking this, two goats were brought inside. which was opposed. Meanwhile, there was a brawl between the people living in the society. This time advance checking has been started to prevent goats from entering the society.
