New Delhi, the first Super 4 match in the Asia Cup was played between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Pakistan won this match by 7 wickets. It was a very low-scoring match compared to the ODI format. Bangladesh team could score only 194 runs in the first innings. Pakistan won the chase in the 40th over. Pakistan has to play its next match against India. The match will be played on September 10 at the Premadasa Stadium. Babar Azam said before the match that we are ready to give our 100 percent against India.
Babar Azam said after the win against Bangladesh, “Full credit goes to our fast bowlers. First Shaheen and now Haris. We planned to pick Faheem Ashraf because there was a lot of grass on this pitch. Which we also liked. Whenever we play at this ground we get a lot of support from the crowd. I hope he enjoyed the match a lot.
On playing the upcoming match against India, Babar Azam said, “With this win, we will be full of confidence in future matches. We are always ready for big matches. We are ready to give our 100 percent in the match against India. Let us tell you that India and Pakistan will meet for the second time in this tournament. The first match was canceled due to rain.
