Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Thursday that the Bengaluru-Chennai Express Highway will be operational by the end of this year or by January 2024 and will prove instrumental in reducing the travel time between the two metropolises to just two hours. . Gadkari said that at a time when infrastructure is being built on a large scale across the country, Chennai will soon be connected to Delhi through an express highway project.
