Biden leaves for India, attends G-20 summit, talks with PM Modi

Washington. US President Joe Biden has left for India to attend the G-20 Summit. Biden left Andrews Air Base in an Air Force One jet to attend the 18th G-20 Summit to be held at the state-of-the-art Bharat Mandapam Convention Center at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on September 9 and 10. Starting Friday, Biden has a busy three-day schedule. After leaving America, he will reach Ramstein, Germany for a short stay on Friday and will reach New Delhi on the same day after a short stay.

According to a White House press release, US President Biden is scheduled to participate in a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. On Saturday, Biden will attend an official arrival and welcome ceremony with PM Modi. After this, the US President will participate in the first session of the G-20 Leaders’ Summit – ‘One Earth’. Later in the day, he is scheduled to attend the G-20 Leaders’ Summit – the second session of the G-20’s ‘One Family’. Biden will also participate in the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment Program. His day will conclude with a dinner and cultural program with G-20 leaders.

US President on Sunday Joe Biden Will visit Rajghat along with other G-20 leaders. After this, Biden will go to Hanoi, Vietnam from New Delhi. There he will attend a reception hosted by Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Biden will attend a meeting with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong. The White House said the US president and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong, would make a statement, followed by a press conference by Biden.

Apart from the speech and state dinner, PM Modi signed several deals to strengthen defense, IT and aerospace ties, further strengthening the ties between the two countries. Ever since India chaired the G20, the US has shown its commitment to making its presidency a success.
