11th Class Students of BSEB, Bihar: The education department has said that matric pass students in class 11 will be enrolled in the same school from which they have passed. In special circumstances, if a student wants to take admission in another school, he can be enrolled during spot admission on the basis of a school transfer certificate countersigned by the District Education Officer. While signing, officials will keep in mind that the student is not enrolled in a distant school.
The Department’s Director of Secondary Education Kanhaiya Prasad Srivastava has on Wednesday sent a letter to the Bihar School Examination Committee regarding the enrollment of students in Class 11. The department in its letter said that applications have been invited through the OFSS portal for the enrollment of students in class 11 in the academic session 2024-25. Regarding allotment of schools to the students, it is said that Plus Two schools have been established in all the panchayats of the state. So that the students of that panchayat are not forced to travel long distances to get admission in the school. One lakh teachers have also been appointed in these schools by the Bihar Public Service Commission. Besides, basic infrastructure facilities have also been developed in schools.
