Bihar BEd CET Exam: In the sweltering heat on Tuesday, 23 thousand 610 students appeared for the B.Ed entrance exam at 41 centers in Muzaffarpur district. 25 thousand 916 candidates were to appear in the examination. Questions related to mathematics and reasoning in the exam made the candidates sweat. The students who took the exam said that the questions from both these subjects were very tough. Simran, an examinee from RBBM College, said the English and Hindi questions were okay, but the Reasoning and Maths questions were too heavy. Juhi and Priya, who took the exam from LS College, also said that maths and reasoning questions were not easy. Some students said that even the coding questions were asked tough. Appointed Nodal Officer for B.Ed Examination in BRABU Prof. Rajiv Jha said the exam was peaceful. State Nodal Officer of Examination Prof. Ashok Mehta said that there is no information of any wrongdoing.

Biometric attendance of candidates started
Candidates and parents reached the center at 8.30 am. Biometric attendance of all candidates was provided. Jammers were installed at the exam centers. An invigilator and a static magistrate were posted at all the centers regarding the examination. Besides, flying squads were also checking the centres. A three-member team from Raj Bhavan also inspected the centres. Besides this, a three-member team from Darbhanga also arrived to inspect the centres.

Students fall ill at examination centers due to heat
Due to the sweltering heat, female students fell ill at several centres, including RBBM. The girls started vomiting. At some centres, female students spoke of not having water in their rooms. Nodal Officer Prof. Rajeev Jha said that the student who vomited was pregnant. After some time his health completely recovered.

The father was fanning the child outside
Many fathers were busy fanning their children outside the examination centres. The children’s mother was appearing for B.Ed. People standing outside the examination center were stunned due to the scorching heat. Everyone was fanning themselves with their mugs and notebooks to escape the heat. Those with young children were more concerned.
