Bihar CHO Recruitment 2024: Bihar Health Society has released a notification today 19 June for the recruitment of 4500 Community Health Officer posts in the state. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website of State Health Society shs.bihar.gov.in. You can check the required details and soon candidates will be able to apply online. Let us inform you that the online application process for the recruitment of Community Health Officer posts will start on July 1, 2024 at 10:00 AM. At the same time, the last date for filling the form has been fixed as 21 July 2024.
4500 posts will be recruited
As per the published notification, total 4500 posts of Community Health Officer will be filled in Bihar. In which 1345 posts in EBC category, 331 posts in EBC (Female), 702 posts in BC category, 259 posts in BC (Female), 1279 posts in SC category, 230 posts in SC (Female), 95 posts in ST are vacant. Category, 36 posts of EWS (Female), 145 posts of EWS and 78 posts of EWS (Female) have been recruited.
Selection Process: Candidates for recruitment to these posts will be interviewed and then shortlisted. Document verification of candidates will be done after their names appear in the shortlist.
Application Fee:
General/OBC/EWS category people have to pay a fee of Rs 500 to fill the form. Whereas, SC/ST/PH category and women have to pay an application fee of Rs 250.

Upload the required documents and submit the form by clicking the submit button.

Age range : The age limit of the candidates to apply for the post of Community Health Officer is fixed between 21 years to 47 years. Apart from this, relaxation in age limit will be given to reserved category people.
Salary: After selection, the candidates will be paid a salary of Rs 40,000 per month. In which 32000 rupees will be paid as fixed salary and 8000 rupees based on performance.
