Boy from Indore, girl from Australia…never even met, yet sexual assault case registered, now CBI is looking for them

New Delhi: An Australian girl has accused an Indian boy of sexual harassment. Interestingly, the two never even met. However, there was a conversation between the two on Instagram. Now CBI has also taken action in this matter. The CBI i.e. Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against an Indore man for sexually harassing and threatening an Australian minor girl through Instagram.

Giving this information, officials said that the CBI had received information from Interpol that Ankur Shukla, a resident of Indore in Madhya Pradesh, had befriended an Australian girl through the social media platform Instagram. In a conversation with the minor girl, Ankur Shukla allegedly asked her to send him objectionable pictures and videos, the CBI said in a statement.

A CBI spokesperson said, ‘It is alleged that after some time when the minor girl showed reluctance to share the photographs and videos, the accused started threatening her that he would share her photographs and videos with her friends and family members, which he continued to do. .’ He said the girl later ‘blocked’ Shukla on Instagram but continued to threaten him using WhatsApp.

A CBI spokesperson said, ‘CBI traced the whereabouts of the accused and collected evidence. A computer hard disk and a mobile phone were found during the search of the house of the accused. Now the CBI has intensified the search for his arrest. A team has been formed for this. He will be arrested soon.
