BPSC Bihar Teacher Bharti: BPSC Chairman’s message to those demanding cancellation of TRE-DV

Read on the application

BPSC Bihar Shikshak Bharti: The recruitment process of 1.70 lakh teachers in secondary and primary schools of Bihar is at its turn. The B.Ed candidates who are out of the post of primary teachers by the order of the Supreme Court have started raising the demand for their inclusion in this recruitment. Among such candidates are some candidates who are seeking cancellation of Document Verification (DV) of BPSC Teacher Recruitment Test (TRE). Meanwhile, Bihar Public Service Commission Chairman Atul Prasad has given his stern message to such candidates.

He tweeted on Friday, September 8, 2023 that the government appoints its officers and later transfers them. This does not worry us at all. But if we talk about such elements who are trying to cancel TRE-DV, they should try harder. That is, the BPSC chairman has made it clear in the signals that the teacher recruitment process will not stop under any circumstances.

Let us tell you that on 11 August 2023, the Supreme Court in one of its orders said that B.Ed pass candidates are not required for the recruitment of primary teachers. For this, only DLED pass is sufficient qualification. Since then, a cloud of apprehension has started to hang over lakhs of BED aspirants dreaming of becoming a primary teacher. In the same order, there are indications of exclusion of B.Ed holders from the post of primary teachers in the ongoing teacher recruitment in Bihar. Now about 3 lakh 90 thousand candidates who applied for BPSC teacher recruitment have started demanding to include themselves in teacher recruitment.

Let us tell you that BPSC conducted the competitive examination on 24, 25 and 26 August 2023 for the recruitment of a total of 1.70 lakh teachers in the state including 79 thousand primary teachers. A total of 6 lakh candidates participated in this exam.

What should B.Ed pass candidates do now?
According to the Supreme Court order, if B.Ed pass candidates are excluded from primary teacher recruitment across the country, then such candidates will have to undergo preparation again. Ed Pass Candidates now apply in Upper Primary Level TET or CTET and wait for Teacher Recruitment for Upper Primary or Secondary Level. That is, now the path will be more difficult for B.Ed pass candidates as they have to prepare afresh to become a government teacher.
