BPSC TRE: They will gain 25 marks in Bihar Teacher Recruitment, applications will resume

Guest teachers will be given the benefit of their experience for the third round of recruitment in Higher Secondary Schools (10+2) conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission. Guest teachers will get a weightage of five marks for each year of service, subject to a maximum of 25 marks. After the decision of Patna High Court, the Education Department has issued this related order on Friday. The department has also sent this letter to BPSC. However, the letter said that the department would file an LPA against this decision. The department has also said that this order will affect the outcome of the appeal.

The letter clarified that this benefit will be given to those who have prescribed qualifications for appointment to the post of Higher Secondary Teacher. It is learned that the High Court had issued an order in this regard on May 29. Director of Secondary Education Kanhaiya Prasad Srivastava has written to the secretary of BPSC asking that the notification be issued soon.

Application for TRE 3 will be repeated
Applications will be taken again for the third phase of Bihar Teacher Recruitment. However, this time only those who have experience as a guest teacher and want to avail weightage marks have to apply. Other candidates who have applied earlier need not apply again.
