For admission in session 2024-25, nominations are to be made for 13,675 seats in 38 engineering colleges. Only about 12 thousand applications have been received for this. It is known that the registration process ended on June 20. The merit list will be announced on Tuesday. The merit list can be viewed on the official website of BCECEB. At the same time, 21 thousand students of PCM group have applied in joint entrance examination conducted by Bihar Common Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB), but very less students are able to get admission in engineering colleges.

In these engineering colleges, students who appear in JEE Main are admitted first. After the two stages, the interested candidates are admitted to the engineering colleges based on the entrance examination conducted by BCECEB in the remaining seats.

The counseling date may be announced today
The date of the counseling process is expected to be announced on June 25. This time 360 ​​seats have been fixed in all engineering colleges. MIT Muzaffarpur has only five seats less. Muzaffarpur has 355 seats. All remaining 37 engineering colleges will have admission for 360 seats each. Apart from this, 40 seats in Gaya College of Engineering and LNMU’s Dr. 120 seats will be given admission in APJ Abdul Kalam Institute of Technology for Women, Darbhanga. That means there will be admission for a total of 13,835 seats.
