Bumper jump in UP DElEd BTC applications due to BEd people withdrawing from primary teacher recruitment

D.El.Ed applications have seen a bumper jump since B.Ed people were excluded from primary teacher recruitment. DLED has received 3.42 lakh applications so far. Uttar Pradesh Examination Regulatory Authority is taking applications for admission to 233350 DLED (BTC) seats in the state. When the application process started, about 60 thousand applications were received in the first 25 days. The last date was extended due to very few applications and the total number of applications reached 121246. By this time even half of the applications for the total available seats had not arrived. Till July 27, only 1.21 lakh applications were received. In which only 99747 candidates had deposited the fee.

After this, the last date was extended from August 9 to August 21. Meanwhile, on August 11, when the Supreme Court ordered that B.Ed holders cannot apply for primary teacher recruitment, only BTC/D.El.Ed/BSTC holders are eligible, there has been a sudden surge in the number of applications. More than two lakh applications came in about a week after the decision.

Online application date for UP DLED 2023 admission has been extended once again. On Thursday, the extension of the date was announced by the Office of the Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority. Candidates can register online till 31st August. Last date for submission of online fee is 2nd September and date for taking print out of completed application has been extended to 5th September. On the other hand, the schedule has been issued by the Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority for online uploading of Internal Assessment Marks of DLED First and Third Semester Exams. Internal assessment marks are to be uploaded from August 22 to 28 on behalf of government and private institutions.
