CCS University: Odd Semester Exams in University from November 17

CCS University Examination 2023: Post Graduate and Undergraduate Odd Semester Examinations will be held from November 17 in colleges affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University. MA, B and 3rd Semester, LLB 1st, 3rd and 5th Semester, LLM 1st and 3rd Semester and BSc AG III, 5th Semester, BSc Hons 1st, 3rd and 5th Semester Main & Back, BSc Home Science and BSc Home Science and BSc. Nutrition first, third and fifth semester exams will continue till December 6.

The exam schedule for the proposed one semester in 9 to 12 and 2 to 5 pm shifts was uploaded on the university website on Tuesday. This is the first time in decades that the university has announced the schedule of odd semester exams in August itself, three months earlier than in December. According to the university, if any amendment is proposed in the programme, it can be sent to the examination department.

The university declared the results
The university has declared the private result of B.Com Honors II, IV Semester, BSc AG VIII Semester, MA Political Science First Year, MA Economics Final Year, MA History Final Year. The university has also declared the pending results of colleges in various courses. Students will be able to check their result on the university website from today.

The university will directly talk to the colleges which are not providing marks
The Vice-Chancellor will seek answers from the colleges which have not given the practical marks in an online meeting on August 24 despite several notices. Due to non-distribution of marks by the colleges, the university could not declare the results before the convocation. The university had directed the colleges to send the practical-viva marks by August 20, but more than 200 colleges had not done so. The university has a convocation on October 5.

Physical verification of teachers before admission
Before admission to BPEd., MPEd., there will be physical verification of teachers in colleges. The university has instructed the teachers to reach the campus education department at 11 am on September 4, 5 and 6 for verification. The admission process for these courses will start soon.

Preparing to teach in the mother tongue
Raj Bhavan has started preparations for teaching in mother tongue or local language in universities and colleges. Rajbhavan has called for a subject-wise list of such teachers who can translate into mother tongue or local language.

Submit BCI College approval
The university has instructed the law colleges to submit the approval of the Bar Council of India i.e. BCI for the session 2023-24. The registration process for law courses is going on in the university, but many colleges have not yet submitted the BCI affiliation letter. Due to which the names of these colleges are not appearing on the university admission portal. According to the university, no action will be taken on bringing BCI permission after completion of the admission process.
