Chinese rocket falls: China launched an astronomical satellite to capture gamma-ray bursts that flash like fireworks at the farthest reaches of the universe. The satellite, which was sent into space on Saturday, is the result of nearly 20 years of work by scientists from China and France. However, a part of this jointly launched satellite fell on the residential settlements on Earth. Due to which an atmosphere of chaos was created among the people. People started running here and there. The video of this incident has also surfaced. Chinese officials, on the other hand, say that their mission was a success and the spacecraft has settled into its orbit.

On Saturday, a Long March 2-C rocket carrying a satellite launched jointly by China and France exploded. A part of it fell on Earth in a residential area. Because of this, an atmosphere of fear was created among the people. For a while people felt that something had fallen from the sky to the earth. According to the information, the spacecraft carrying the Space Variable Object Monitor (SVOM) satellite took off from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center at 3.00 am (local time) on June 22. Shortly after takeoff, part of the rocket fell back to Earth. The part of the rocket that lands on Earth is called the booster.

A video of this incident is going viral on social media. In which the rocket is seen falling in a populated area. Panic spread among the people due to the falling part of the vehicle and they started running here and there to escape. The satellite, a space-based multi-band variable object monitor (SVOM), was launched by a Long March-2C rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China’s Sichuan province, according to the China National Space Administration.

There is a statement from the Chinese government
However, Chinese officials declared the mission a success, and confirmed that the satellite is the most powerful satellite ever launched and successfully entered orbit. According to the China National Space Administration, the satellite’s mission is to study astronomical phenomena, including gamma-ray bursts. It is the first astronomy satellite jointly developed by China and France, demonstrating China’s growing strength in space and lunar exploration.
