Clouds of danger over India-Pakistan Super-4, fear of 70 percent cancellation of matches

New Delhi. The first match between India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup was inconclusive. Rain came in the match and did not allow it to be completed and spoiled the fun of the fans. In the league stage match, the match had to be canceled due to rain. The points were shared between the two teams but now it’s Super 4 and the situation is the same as before. This means that the second match may be rained out.

All the four teams of Super 4 of Asia Cup 2023 have reached the finals. Along with India and Pakistan, Bangladesh and then Sri Lanka finally secured their place. The first match of Super 4 will be played between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Pakistan will host this match. The subsequent Super 4 matches will be played in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The most important match in this match is the match between India and Pakistan which is expected to be inconclusive due to rain once again.

70 percent of the matches are expected to be washed out
A Super 4 match is scheduled to be played between India and Pakistan on Sunday, September 10. There is a lot of curiosity among the fans regarding this match as the first match could not be played completely. Fans are scared because of the weather in Colombo. This fear is also true as there is a 70 percent chance of rain during this match. Chance of rain is likely to decrease to 5 percent in the evening.

The first match was washed out due to rain
The first match of the Asia Cup between India and Pakistan was washed out due to rain. After winning the toss and batting first, the Indian team scored 266 runs on the basis of fighting fifties by Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya. Team India were all out in 48.5 overs but rain started before Pakistan could bat and the match could not be resumed.
