Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from South Delhi Lok Sabha constituency Sahiram said there is no difference between his party and Congress workers and they will work together for the victory of ‘Bharat’ alliance candidates in all the seven seats in the national capital. . Under the seat-sharing agreement, AAP is contesting from four Lok Sabha constituencies in Delhi – South Delhi, East Delhi, West Delhi and New Delhi, while the Congress has fielded its candidates from North East Delhi, North West Delhi and Chandni Chowk seats. Polling will be held in the city on May 25.

The AAP MLA popularly known as Sahiram Pahlwan said that his party is identified with Arvind Kejriwal and Congress is identified with Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi. “I don’t think the workers of both the parties will deviate from the direction set by their top leadership,” he said.

Targeting the BJP, he said that if you talk about inflation and unemployment, you will be called a traitor and thrown in jail. Why don’t they talk about farmers and soldiers? This is a matter of great concern for the country.

The AAP MLA said, “The Agnipath scheme was brought in but there is no pension for soldiers after four years of retirement. Claiming that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest has caused a lot of resentment among the people of the city, one has thought about his future, Sahiram said it would have been better for the party if he was not in jail.

He said, “When he should be among the masses, he has been thrown in jail.” People are chanting – respond by voting, because they are happy with the work Kejriwal has done in the last nine years.

He said that if he wins the election, his first three priorities will be to build a big hospital, school and stadium in South Delhi.
