How to prepare for JEE Main, IAT and NEET simultaneously?
Dutta said, ‘I started my preparation after 10th standard with JEE Main in mind. However, my interest in research and IISER Aptitude Test directed my preparation mostly towards IAT. I took PCMB coaching in Akash. My school teachers helped me achieve this feat in preparation for IAT 2024 exam.

Talking about his preparation strategy, he said that he studied in school from the notes provided by the coaching institute and NCERT textbooks. “After my school finishes between 1pm and 3pm, I will take some rest and then finish my school homework. I did online coaching from 7pm to 10pm,” he said.

He adds. “I studied in such a way that my online coaching did not interfere with my board exam preparation and school routine. CBSE Students succeed in national level examinations. The essence of the syllabus remains the same – be it state board, CBSE or CISCE.’

On what was his daily routine after the board exams were over, he said that he set daily targets, which he rarely achieved. He planned his day to study and revise PCMB subjects. “I paid less attention to biology for IAT than PCM, even though it had 25 per cent weightage,” he said, adding that he also solved previous years’ questions well.
