CSBC Bihar Police Constable Exam Date: Central Selection Board Constable Recruitment will start Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Exam from 7th August. The Chairman of the Central Selection Board has written to the District Magistrate, Purnia, giving directions to conduct the examination in a malpractice-free and peaceful atmosphere. The letter mentions that the proposed dates of constable recruitment exam are 7, 11, 18, 21, 25, 28 and 31 August. The exam will be conducted in one shift. Along with government schools, non-government, private schools, colleges and universities can also be hired as examination centres. Colleges and schools which have been controversial in the past should not be made examination centres. The letter gives instructions for appointment of qualified Center Superintendent and Inspector. 21,391 constable posts in Bihar Police will be filled through this recruitment exam.

The written exam will be of 100 marks. 2 hours time will be given to solve the question paper. There will be total 100 questions with one mark awarded for each correct answer. Only those who qualify the written exam will be called for the next stage physical test. Merit list for selection will be prepared only on the basis of marks obtained in physical test. There will be no interviews. Youth from other states can also apply for this recruitment, though they will not get the benefit of reservation.

The final merit list for selection will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in physical efficiency test in running, high jump and shot put. The marks of the written examination will not be included in the final merit list. Written test will qualify only. Only candidates who qualify in this will be able to enter the next stage of Physical Test (Physical Efficiency Test).

– Candidates will be selected category wise 5 times for physical test, keeping in view the reservation of vacancies on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination.
