The team’s fast bowler Deepak Chahar could not play the entire match due to injury. Pathirana and Tushar were not available for selection for the match against Punjab. Pathirana was injured, while Tusshar Deshpande was not well.
Deepak Chahar left the field in the first over of Punjab Kings’ innings. Chasing a target of 163, Punjab Kings got a big relief as Chahar bowled just two balls. Chahar started with the new ball and hit Prabhasimar for a four off the second ball of his over. Soon after, Chahar grabbed his hamstring and walked off the field after talking to captain Ruturaj Gaekwad.
