CTET 2023: CTET tomorrow, arrive 2 hours before, read these important rules before going to exam center

CTET 2023: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is going to be held across the country tomorrow on August 20. CTET admit card was issued late on Thursday night. You can download it by visiting ctet.nic.in. The exam will be in offline mode. Candidates have to reach the center one hour before. Candidates should not appear in the examination wearing watches, wallets, glasses, handbags, gold, artificial jewellery. Candidates are required to carry Admit Card, Aadhaar Card and two passport size photographs to take admission in the examination centre. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 930 AM to 12 PM and the second shift from 230 AM to 5 PM. 150 questions of 150 marks will be asked in both the papers. Candidates will be given a total time of 150 minutes to solve these questions. Paper-1 will have questions from subjects like Hindi, Child Development and Pedagogy, English, Environment and Mathematics.

Successful candidates who have appeared in CTET Paper-1 will be considered eligible for Teacher Recruitment for Class 1 to 5. While the successful candidates appearing in Paper-2 will be considered eligible for the recruitment of teachers for classes 6 to 8.

CTET exam is conducted twice a year by CBSE. Candidates who clear this exam can apply for appointment to the posts of teachers in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas and Army Schools across the country.

Keep these guidelines in mind
Bring the admit card and photo identity proof (Aadhaar card, voter ID card or driving license etc.) with you.
Candidates have to report at the center two hours before the examination.
– Use of whitener, overwriting and cutting is prohibited in OMR answer sheet.
Five minutes before the commencement of the examination, candidates will be asked to unseal the test booklet. Candidates should ensure that the test booklet code given on their OMR sheet is the same as the code printed on the test booklet. It should be the same.
Candidates should write the correct test booklet number on the attendance sheet.
Candidates have to bring their ball point pen (black/blue) in the examination. Do not use a pencil at all. Use of pencil is not allowed on the OMR sheet.
Do not bring jewellery, watch, purse, mobile, bluetooth, calculator or any other gadget or electronic device, log table with you. It is prohibited to take them to the examination center.
