CTET Result 2023: Know about CTET Result, CTET Qualifying Marks in September

CTET Result 2023: Millions of candidates CTET Result is awaited. As soon as the Central Teacher Eligibility Exam ends on Sunday, August 20, the candidates’ wait for the CTET result has begun. CTET Answer Key will be released before CTET Result. The latest update is that the CTET answer key will be released in the first week of September. On the other hand, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the CTET exam result in the last week of September. After the declaration of the result, the board will send their score to all the candidates. Using this score, candidates can apply for teacher posts in Central Vidyalayas including CBSE, Navodaya Vidyalaya, ICSE, Sainik Schools.

The CTET exam was conducted last Sunday. This exam was conducted at 3121 exam centers in 136 cities of the country. Around 25 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. CTET answer key and CTET result will be declared on the official website ctet.nic.in. Candidates can check it with login credentials.

General will have to bring 60 percent

Talking about the CTET cutoff, to clear this exam, general category candidates need to score 60 percent i.e. 90 out of 150 marks. On the other hand, it is mandatory for SC, ST, OBC and Divyang candidates to secure 55 percent i.e. 82 marks out of 150 in the examination.

Last year pass percentage

More than 12 lakh candidates applied for paper 1 of CTET exam in January 2021, while the number of candidates who cleared the exam was more than 4 lakh, if we talk about the pass percentage it was 33.25 percent. While in Paper 2 more than 11 lakh candidates appeared and more than 2 lakh passed and their pass percentage was 21.68 percent. More than 14 lakh candidates appeared in the December 2019 Paper 1 exam, out of which 2.47 lakh passed and the pass percentage was 17.50. While in paper 2 more than 9 lakh appeared and 2.94 lakh passed and this year the pass percentage is 29.73.
