Voting is being held today in 96 Lok Sabha seats in 10 states and union territories including Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana under the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections in the country. PM Modi has appealed to voters to vote enthusiastically in the fourth phase. Along with this, PM Modi said that I request the people of Andhra Pradesh, especially the first-time voters, to vote in record numbers in the assembly elections. Hope these elections will further enhance our democratic spirit. PM posted on X that assembly elections are starting today in Odisha. I appeal to the people of this state to exercise their franchise in large numbers. Your vote is your voice – let it be heard loud and clear. Voting is being held in a total of 96 Lok Sabha seats in 10 states including Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Telangana.

Apart from this, voting is also going on for all 175 seats of Andhra Pradesh Assembly and 28 seats of Odisha Assembly. Among the main candidates in the fray in the fourth phase of the election is Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, who is contesting from the Kannauj Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh. Union Minister Giriraj Singh is contesting from Begusarai Lok Sabha seat in Bihar. Nityanand Rai is contesting from Ujiarpur, while senior Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary is a candidate from Behrampur seat in West Bengal. Pankaja Munde is contesting from Maharashtra seat. AIMIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi is contesting from Hyderabad. In Andhra Pradesh, Congress state president YS Sharmila is trying her luck from the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat.
