CBI has busted a big racket in Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital

A doctor is like God to a patient. But what if the doctor starts playing with your life? One such shocking case has come to light from Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. This racket is not only to take bribe but also to break the trust of patients. However, in this case, the CBI has identified the accused doctors and people involved in this entire racket. Also, 9 people have been arrested in this case so far.

Now in such a situation, it is very important to know how this racket was exposed in such a big hospital of the country. And how did the CBI make the first arrest in this case? Today we are going to tell you these side stories related to this racket at one level. According to sources connected to the CBI, the racket was first busted when Dr Parvat Gowda of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital contacted a man named Akharshan. Actually, Akash was working as a sales manager in a private biotronics company.

CBI has already Dr. Parvat Gowda’s phone was put on surveillance. During this time Dr. Parvatgowda approached Aksar and asked him to pay his previous dues.

The accused was caught through a phone call

Dr. Due to this phone call of Parvat Gowda, this racket was exposed in front of CBI. Based on this call, CBI Dr. Parvat Gowda along with another doctor were detained and their interrogation started. During this interrogation, the CBI got information about the money train running between these doctors and the medical equipment manufacturing company.

CBI raids at 15 locations

During the investigation of this case, the CBI has raided a total of 15 places associated with dealers manufacturing medical equipment. CBI has also registered an FIR in this matter. Many people including doctors of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital have been named in this FIR.

A bribe was paid to use the equipment of a private company

The CBI investigation has revealed that along with senior doctors of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, lab clerks and employees are also involved in this racket. The CBI officials were shocked by what came out during the investigation. Investigation revealed that these doctors were using the equipment of a private instrument manufacturing company to operate and treat patients. And for this he also took a huge amount as bribe from that company. This whole game was going on behind the scenes.

Payment was made through UPI and bank account.

Investigations revealed that the accused doctors never took payment in cash, so that no one would know about this racket. For this he demanded bribe money through UPI and account transfer. According to information received by the CBI, sources said that Naresh Nagpal, owner of Nagpal Technologies Pvt Ltd, supplies equipment used in medical practice to patients. Dr. Parvatgowda takes bribe from Nagpal in return for using these tools. On May 2 Dr. Parvat Gowda demanded a bribe from Nagpal to use the equipment. Nagpal Dr. Parvat Gowda assured that the fixed amount of bribe would be delivered to him by May 7.

CBI knew that accused Nagpal would definitely come to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital with bribe money. After this, the CBI laid a trap around Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and took a bribe of around 2.5 lakh rupees. Parvat Gowda was arrested red-handed.

Under this racket, bribes are being taken from patients in the name of treatment and patients are also being encouraged to use medical equipment of certain companies.

1 – Bribes were taken in the name of supply of stunts and other medical equipment

2- A bribe was demanded to supply a particular brand of stunts.

3- Bribe was also taken for supply of medical equipment to the lab.

4- Patients were admitted to hospital in return for bribes.

5- Recovery was also made in the name of providing fake medical certificate.
