New Delhi. England have announced their squad for the T20 World Cup to be held in June. Glimpses of IPL can be clearly seen in England’s T20 team. The batsman who is scoring a lot of runs for different teams in the IPL has got a place in the English team. Which includes KKR batsman Phil Salt, RCB batsman Will Jacks. Phil Salt has scored the most runs for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2024. Will Jacks also recently scored a century for RCB. The team will be captained by Jos Buttler, the only batsman to score two centuries in IPL 2024.

The England and Wales Cricket Club (ECB) announced its squad for the T20 World Cup on Tuesday. Chris Jordan and Jofra Archer have returned to the team. The England team will play the T20 series against Pakistan from May 22 before the World Cup. England’s first match in the T20 World Cup is against Scotland on June 4.

Along with captain Jos Buttler, Phil Salt, Will Jacks, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Duckett, Harry Brook will lead England’s batting in the T20 World Cup. Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran have been selected as all-rounders in the team. Chris Jordan, Jofra Archer, Mark Wood, Reece Topley, Tom Hartley, Adil Rashid will be responsible for the bowling attack.
