The Pakistan cricket team has been in turmoil since reaching the final of the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia. Zaman had a poor start to the 2023 World Cup in India, but returned to form in the second half.
Fakhar Zaman’s performance as an opener has been good. However, he has been sent down the batting order in the T20 format. He batted at number four in T20 World Cup 2024.
